I am delighted to let you know that the current Year 8s, whilst in Year 7, raised the fantastic amount of £1,177.63 in memory of an ex-student. This has been donated to Naomi House and Jacksplace who provide support for seriously and terminally ill children and their families. Thank you Year 8 for all your hard work and enthusiastic fundraising. You should be very, very proud of yourselves |

The first Year 10 Progress Check for your son/daughter is due to be distributed during tutor time today 4/11. We hope that you will find it useful in tracking the progress that they are making. A Current Grade has been included which is a professional indication of your son/daughter’s current attainment in their subjects over the first half-term.
The online Year 10 Subject Evening will be held on 17th November 2022 from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. At this evening, you will be able to discuss your son/daughter’s progress which makes it important that parents and students attend this event. We will be using the online system of booking appointments which can be done by logging in to ‘MyHighcliffe’. This will go live at 3pm on Thursday 10th November.
A letter providing further details on all of the above information will be sent to parents following the release of Year 10 Progress Check today friday 4/11. |

School Nursing Team Text Message Service |
|
ParentLine 5-19 is a TEXT MESSAGING SERVICE and aims to support parents who may require support with their child/young person’s health, wellbeing or development.
Please text: 07312263131 for advice from a member of the School Nursing team.
The message below from the school nursing team explains more about this.
We are delighted to now also be able to provide a confidential text messaging service to the Parents and Carers of children and young people aged between 5 and 19. This text messaging service will be called ParentLine 5-19 and from 1st November, Parents will also be able to gain advice from a member of the School Nursing team via text message for topics such as Development, Healthy eating, Weight management, Behaviour management, Emotional health and wellbeing, Toileting, Sleep and more.
How it will work:
- Parent/carer sends a text message to the ParentLine 5-19 number
- An automated reply confirms the message has been received.
- A trained healthcare professional from the School Nursing team will respond to the message between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday (Excluding weekends, bank holidays and School Holidays) within 24 working hours.
Please note that ParentLine 5-19 will initially only be available during School Term times and will be closed during School Holidays and this should not be used as an emergency service - urgent help should be sought from an NHS walk-in centre or call NHS 111, or in an emergency, dial 999 or go to A&E. |
